Gisèle Darrieux was born in Tarbes (Hosts Pyrénées) she paints since the age of twelve, consciously following the teachings of his grandfather paternal, talented painter who took him with him on the banks of the Adour or he loved work Subsequently, attending his father's travels (Career Officer in the Army) several painting workshops, then later entered the National School of Fine Arts from the Ministry of Posts in Paris and the School of Grande Chaumière.

Passionate about his art, she went to several techniques, passing from a realistic figurative to the abstract with the same happiness. She lives and now works in St Jean Cap Ferrat Petit Paradis between Nice and Monaco, where she has been installed for 45 years. It was for almost 12 years, president of independent artists of Nice and the Côte d'Azur, organizing from one end of the department to the other many shows for the members of his association. Obliged to resign from his position by very serious reasons of health, she subsequently founded the association "Cap Ferrat Art International", organizing major international trade shows of professionals and semi-pro (more than 31 nations) and finally created the association St Jean des Arts and the Municipal gallery of the same name, or for more than 10 years the disease having caught up, it still continues to paint a little, making personal exhibitions each year in St Jean Cap Ferrat.
